Inspiring Zouk
Celina and Karol have introduced Zouk to people with diverse dance experiences, including those transitioning from salsa, bachata, kizomba, tango, swing dances, and ballroom. By bridging these styles, they’ve shown how Zouk’s smooth connection and creative movement can complement and enhance a dancer’s existing skills. Their mission is to grow a top-notch Zouk community through engaging classes, fun social events, and workshops tailored for all dance levels from beginners to advanced.

Celina
Celina has been dancing Brazilian Zouk and Lambada since 2018 and began teaching in Iceland in April 2023. As a key figure in the Icelandic Zouk community, she organizes regular Zouk classes in Reykjavik, social dance events, workshops, private lessons, and even trips to international Zouk festivals. Celina also collaborates with international artists to host unique dance experiences in Iceland.
She is trained in the BRIC methodology and is currently expanding her expertise with the MAC methodology.
Celina is Filipino-Canadian, and has been living in Iceland since June 2022. She also works full-time as the Head of Marketing at Lucinity. When she’s not dancing Zouk, you can find her spending time outdoors, hiking, biking, rock climbing, traveling, and organizing events.
Karol
Karol began his Brazilian Zouk and Lambada journey in 2016, blending his background in Jazz, Contact Improv, and Ballroom with the creativity and connection of Zouk. Over the past eight years, he has trained with numerous instructors, accumulating over 1,000 hours of learning. By 2023, Karol began teaching group classes at Salsa Libre dance school in Warsaw, sharing his knowledge with dancers across skill levels.
As a trained psychologist and an experienced dancer in Ballet, Jazz, and Hip-Hop, Karol integrates these disciplines into his teaching, helping students in Reykjavik rapidly develop their Zouk and Lambada skills.
When he's not dancing Zouk, you can find him learning Icelandic, hiking, and traveling.
